TULSI HEERA FOUNDATION

Tulsi Heera Foundation is an initiative, started after the massive earthquake of 2015 in Nepal, aiming to provide free education to the children affected by earthquake. The 2015 earthquake of 8.1 richter scale took a lot of lives in Nepal and left a lot of children orphans and helpless. Even though, Nepalese government tried to overcome the pain through some economic aid to the most affected families but that hasn’t been sufficient even for village reconstruction or for providing basic needs like food or shelter to the people.
There are still people living in tents with lack of drinking water or electricity. In this scenario, sending children to obtain education has been of lesser priority among the affectants. Thereby, Tulsi Heera Foundation has been trying to empower primary education by providing full scholarships to two students in a public school called Shree Ratna Ganga Higher Secondary School which was destroyed totally during the earthquake and is situated at one of the most affected village by earthquake called Chautara in Sindhupalchowk district.
